The "28th Annual National Night Out" (NNO), a unique crime/drug prevention event will be held on August 2nd 2011...more to come.

Last year's National Night Out campaign involved citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials from over 15,000 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide. In all, over 37 million people participated in National Night Out 2008.

The City of Pasadena Hills was pleased to participate in this great event once again and owes thanks to Marie Penkake, Chairperson, and her husband Allen among many other volunteers for their efforts in making this a wondeerful event.

This year’s event included a pet and doll parade originating at the fountain area at the intersection of Roland Blvd and Country Club.  The parade proceeded to the Bristol ravine near City Hall.Neighbors, young and old, enjoyed hula-hooping, playing games and eating ice cream sundaes with local officials of the City.

Mayor McLaughlin also recognized several key City employees for their significant contributions to the City and quality of life of the residents.  Those people recognized were:

Officer Kyle Jundt, Officer Kevin Trott, Officer Scott Ruder, Don Rauch, Ernie Rauch, John Diemeke,  and Damon Mays
